in spring 2021, when I started reading his first diary,
then letters to his mom followed,
then later diaries,
then latest diaries,
intertwined with long sessions of movie watching and analysing.
During this period of time I created an image of Jonas Mekas ,
which is very close and personal to me,
maybe non existent,
maybe totally different from who he actually was,
inspirational,
heroic,
a person I look up to - talented and passionate,
craving to read and watch everything worth reading and watching.
A person who eats croissants and shares them with cats,
shares everything he has with others.
